All rates in this data cube are calculated based on total school enrolments in the state or territory of the school divided by the relevant Estimated Resident Population or population projection. As such these rates are subject to statistical errors due to differences in the definition and method of compilation for each separate statistical series. These errors can be very large, particularly where the rate pertains to a relatively small population. For more information please see Explanatory Notes, paragraphs 35-52.
