Family Characteristics, Australia, June 2003 (cat. no. 4442.0) is due for release in September 2004. It will present information on the current composition of families and households with a special focus on the characteristics of children which include age, sex and step relationships. Other issues covered will include marital status, labour force status, parental income and contact arrangements for children with non-resident parents.
