LOCAL GOVERNMENT REVIEW
ABS is conducting a review of statistical collections with Local Governments across Australia. This is expected to be completed in April 2001 and aims to review data collection arrangements, assess the requirements of Local Governments, improve ABS services and statistical information to local governments and assess the potential for obtaining data from council administrative systems.
