STANDARD INPUT CATEGORIES

18. All data are converted to and stored in whole weeks for any duration of unemployment. (N.B. less specific dates are collected for longer durations so the weeks' calculations get 'grainier'. Durations of less than 2 years are converted to weeks from a specific date dd/mm/yy. Durations of 2 years to less than 5 years are converted to weeks from mm/yy and durations of 5 years or more ago are converted to weeks from yy only).
