DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 2.6% in September and has now increased for 4 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.8% in September and has now risen for 3 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 2.9% in September and has fallen for 12 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.2% in September and has now fallen for 21 months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 0.1% in September and has now risen for 5 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.5% in September and has now fallen for 20 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 1.9% in September and is now showing falls for 6 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.0% in September and is now showing falls for 4 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.5% in September and has now increased for 3 months.
