DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 1.7% in April and has risen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.2% in April after being flat in the previous month. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 3.2% in April and has fallen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.3% in April and has risen for three months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 3.4% in April and has risen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.0% in April and has fallen for five months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 1.6% in April and has risen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.0% in April and has risen for three months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 2.3% in April and has fallen for six months.
