JUNE TREND ESTIMATES KEY POINTS

The June 2017 trend estimate (100,845) increased by 1.0% when compared with May 2017.
When comparing national trend estimates for June 2017 with May 2017, sales for Passenger vehicles, Sports utility vehicles and Other vehicles increased by 0.5%, 1.4% and 1.3% respectively.
The largest upward movement across all states and territories, on a trend basis, was in the Northern Territory (2.8%), continuing an upward trend that began in January 2017.
There was no downward movement across any of the states and territories, on a trend basis.
