    This publication presents a detailed profile on the use of information technologies by Australians, based on four quarterly Household Use of Information Technology Surveys conducted in 1999. It contains information on the use of computers and the Internet by private households. For adults (persons aged 18 years or over), details are given of their Internet activities, including location and frequency of use, Internet purchasing, the use of other electronic means to carry out financial transactions and teleworking are also included.
