Provides technical and other details of the confidentialised unit record file (CURF) produced from the main unit record file of the Household Expenditure Survey. It is confidentialised and as such contains no names or addresses and the detail for some items of data has been suppressed or reduced. Subject to the limitation of sample size and the data classification used, it is possible to manipulate the data, produce tabulations and undertake statistical analyses to individual specifications.

1993-94 Basic CURF was previously released on Catalogue Numbers 6544.0.15.001 (Floppy Disk) and 6544.0.25.001 (CD-ROM).
