The 2006 General Social Survey (GSS) User Guide provides detailed information about the survey content, methodology, data processing, data quality and dissemination. It also contains technical information describing the content and use of the GSS basic and expanded Confidentialised Unit Record Files (CURFs). There are attachments for the GSS data items, survey questions, prompt cards and CURF content.
