About this Release ABS proposes to measure the "Knowledge Economy" (Media Release)	ABOUT THIS RELEASE Presents a descriptive framework for measuring the knowledge-based economy and society through use of relevant statistics. The framework consists of five broad dimensions, each populated by a number of characteristics and statistical indicators.
