Bunbury babies added to count

There'll be quite a few new Aussies around Bunbury added to this Tuesday night's Census.

Bunbury Regional Hospital is having a mini birth boom, with four children born today (Wednesday, 2 August).

To mark the births, the Australian Bureau of Statistics has produced special t-shirts with "I just made the count" printed on them.

"From a Census perspective, it's quite good timing because the babies born this week will be at home and able to be counted in their official place of residence," said the Director of the WA Census Management Unit Dave Roarty.
