About these projections

The Western Australian Ministry for Planning has prepared a set of population projections for local government areas in Western Australia. These projections were released in October 2000 in Western Australia Tomorrow, Population Report No. 4 and cover the period 1996-2016. The geographical boundaries are those that existed on 1 July 1998 (ASGC 1998).
