The section provides more detail on the changes ABS is making to these procedures and methods in order to address recommendations arising from the National Agricultural Statistics Review (NASR) and align with the directions of the ABS Transformation Program - namely: updating the scope of the collection to reduce respondent burden and better align with contemporary definitions of an agricultural business; and harnessing the benefits of the web-form collection methods to reduce reporting burden, improve the provider experience and increase the efficiency of data collection. The section also outlines the measures ABS will be employing to ensure the high quality of Agricultural Census data against all dimensions of the ABS Data Quality Framework.
