The survey was conducted during December 2010 throughout Victoria. The survey provides a snapshot of the extent to which flexible work options enable and encourage people to participate in the workforce and thereby increase labour productivity. The survey measured the demographic characteristics of households according to several themes: persons not in the labour force and not on long-term unpaid leave; current employment characteristics; work preferences and, employee requests for flexible working arrangements.
