The non-Indigenous imprisonment rate increased from 154 to 160 prisoners per 100,000 non-Indigenous population (or 4%). increased in every jurisdiction except the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory. was highest in Western Australia (4,063), followed by the Northern Territory (2,756) and South Australia (2,726).
