As part of this release, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has introduced an improved method of estimation for the Labour Force Survey (LFS).

The ABS has revised labour force estimates back to April 2001 with data generated from this new methodology. To avoid confusion between revised and unrevised estimates when using our products, it was decided to supply data for this product up to March 2001 instead of May 2003, as previously provided. To access revised data from April 2001, please use datacube LM4_APR01.
