LIVESTOCK SLAUGHTERING AND MEAT PRODUCTION Trend estimates for lamb slaughtering increased by 3.0% while sheep, pigs, calves and cattle slaughtering decreased by 15.6%, 10.8%, 10.0% and 6.0% respectively between October 2006 and October 2007.
