A wide variety of fruit crops are grown in South Australia, mainly oranges, apples, mandarins, apricots, and peaches. Citrus growing is concentrated in the irrigation settlements of the Riverland. In 2004-05, South Australian farmers produced 154,000 tonnes of oranges.
