Description
The 1997 Training Practices Survey collected information from employers in Australia on the types of training provided to their employees. It also explored reasons why employers adopted certain practices and what influenced their decisions. The Training Practices Survey used the same sample of employers that had been selected for the Training Expenditure Survey, 1996. The sample consisted of approximately 6,000 employers and was stratified by sector, industry and employer size. Information was collected by mail questionnaire.
