INTRODUCTION
This publication presents estimates of the economic and financial performance of these industries: electricity supply; gas supply; water supply, sewerage and drainage services; and waste collection, treatment and disposal services. The estimates are compiled from the ABS Economic Activity Survey and from business tax data reported to the Australian Taxation Office.
These industries are specified in Division D Electricity, gas, water and waste services of the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC), 2006 edition. Please see paragraphs 1-6 of the Explanatory Notes for a full definition.
