The ABS Vacation Program offers a limited number of positions mainly in our Canberra Office to successful students employment over their Summer break. Our program allows university students to gain valuable work experience with Australia’s leading statistical agency and gain exposure to the Australian Public Service.

Salary
Successful candidates will receive a salary of $46, 191 (per annum, pro-rata). In addition candidates will also receive a generous superannuation contribution.
Program Dates
Our vacation program has been designed to coincide with university summer vacation periods, by commencing in December and running through to February of the following year.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for our vacation program, you MUST be:
- an Australian Citizen
- studying towards a degree
