The main way to get to statistics on our website is through the topics.
Along the top of the page you will see a navigation bar with four options, click on the first option: ‘statistics’. (If you are using a mobile phone, select menu then statistics)
You will see a list of the different topics that the ABS collects statistics on. Select the topic which is most relevant to what you are looking for.
TIP: Under some topics there are words that indicate the type of statistics that can be found in them.
From here you can select the release that most interests you, go back to the topics page or choose to see all releases before 2013
If you see a release that looks like it has what you are looking for but it is the wrong time frame, click into it.
You will see another navigation bar below the release title. It will have 5 tabs, click on the fifth tab: ‘Past & Future Releases’. This will allow you to see a full list of dates for that release so that you can select the time frame you are looking for.
The second way to get to statistics on our website is through search.
The search box is located at the top right of every page. To use it, simply enter a few short words describing the information you want to find. Click 'Find' and you will be taken to a page displaying the results of your search.
The third way to get to statistics on our website is through the footer.
If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see a list of quick links that will get you to a range of content including ABS.Stat, our Microdata tools and Statistical Methods & Classifications.
