The preliminary estimate of the total value of residential dwellings in Australia in the September quarter 2025 was $11,928.2 billion, up $316.8 billion from $11,611.4 billion in the June quarter 2025.
Of the total value of residential dwellings, $11,457.8 billion was owned by households.
In the September quarter 2025, the total value of residential dwellings rose in all states and territories, with growth most evident in New South Wales (+2.4%), Queensland (+4.0%), and Western Australia (+4.9%).
The number of residential dwellings in Australia rose by 53,800 to 11,410,700, and the mean price of residential dwellings rose by $23,000 to $1,045,400 this quarter.
