NAME OF ORGANISATION This survey collected information on travel patterns and preferences for persons aged 18 years and over in New South Wales. The information collected included the form of transport used on the last trip to work, education or any other travel. Information was also collected on reasons for using the form of transport, problems experienced with public transport and characteristics such as home ownership and residential location choice. The aims of this survey was to collect information on: SCOPE Scope: NSW civilian population aged 18 and over who were usual residents of private dwellings, except:
Coverage: In the survey, coverage rules were applied which aimed to ensure that each person was associated with only one dwelling, and hence only had one chance of selection in the survey. Classifications Standard Classifications were used for Labour Force variables ie: Age - Formed by aggregation of age groupings. North-East Asia, Southern and Central Asia, Americas, Sub-saharan Africa Labour Force Status - Employed, Unemployed, Not in the labour force Language spoken at home - English only, Italian, Greek, Arabic/Lebanese, Chinese, Spanish, Other Region - Formed by aggregation of standard statistical divisions.
