ABOUT THIS PUBLICATION

This publication contains preliminary estimates of the gross values of production for principal agricultural commodities for all states, territories and Australia for 2008-09.

The final estimates for 2008-09 will be released in Value of Agricultural Commodities Produced, Australia (cat. no. 7503.0) in June 2010.

Comparisons with past year production estimates are based on 2007-08 data released in Agricultural Commodities, Australia (cat. no. 7121.0).
