Gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) by Total selected industries was $171.8b in 2010-11, an increase of 1.4% from the previous year.

The largest increases in GFCF between 2009-10 and 2010-11 occurred in Mining ($9.6b, 24.1%) and Education and training ($1.5b, 47.5%). The two largest decreases occurred in Rental, hiring and real estate services (-$4.1b, -23.1%) and Transport, postal and warehousing (-$3.0b, -17.0%).
