Exports of live cattle
Live cattle exports in the September quarter 2012 decreased by 20% to 149 thousand when compared to the previous quarter. Of these, 65 thousand or 43% were exported to Indonesia, 16 thousand to Turkey and 15 thousand to Egypt.

Exports of live sheep
Live sheep exports in the September quarter 2012 decreased by 30% to 502 thousand when compared to the previous quarter. Of these, 157 thousand were exported to Qatar, 73 thousand to Turkey and 69 thousand to Saudi Arabia.
