A correction has been made to preliminary and revised suicide numbers in Table 4 of the Causes of Death Revisions, 2015 Revised Data (Technical Note).
The Common Drug Classes graph in the Drug Induced Deaths in Australia article has been updated to include the data line for antipsychotics.

A number of new materials were released, which contain final 2014 data, and revised 2015 data. These include: 
- Causes of Death Revisions, 2014 Final Data (Technical Note); 
- Causes of Death Revisions, 2015 Revised Data (Technical Note);
- Updates to 2014 and 2015 Suicide Data (Technical Note) and; 
- Underlying causes of death (Australia), 2014 and 2015 Revisions data cube. 

A number of sections were updated to include information on newly available revised 2014 and 2015 data: 
- Summary of findings; 
- Data Cubes (I-Note);

The Cancer deaths in younger Australians - changes over 20 years article was released. The Summary of findings page was also updated to reflect the publication of this article.

A correction has been made to the age-specific proportion of suicide deaths figure for males aged 85 years or more which appears in text in the Intentional self-harm: key characteristics article. Small updates to text and footnotes have also been made in this article.

Year totals have been corrected in the table Drug induced deaths by drug type, 1999, 2007, 2016 (a)(b)(c)(d)(e) in the Drug induced deaths in Australia article.
Footnote (a) has been corrected in Table 3.1 and Table 3.2 of the Intentional self-harm: key characteristics article. No other changes to data have occurred.
