12/11/2014 Two SEIFA 2011 Indexes Data Cubes have been reissued to remove state percentiles for states which have fewer than 100 areas. The affected Data Cubes were the Statistical Local Areas Indexes, which had the removal of Tasmanian State Percentiles for all indexes, and Postal Areas, which had the ACT State Percentiles removed for the IRSAD index. This brought these Data Cubes into alignment with the remaining Data Cubes. No changes have been made to any index scores, subsequent ranks or deciles.

18/07/2013 The Statistical Local Area (SLA) Indexes Data Cube has been reissued due to the additional exclusion of ten SLAs which have a poor correspondence with the Statistical Area Level 1s (SA1s) they are constructed from. For these excluded SLAs, the SLA was smaller than the SA1 that it was derived from. This results in a total of 23 SLAs not receiving index scores. For the SLAs that do receive index scores, the index scores have not changed in this reissue. However the subsequent ranks, deciles and percentiles have been updated to take into consideration the additional exclusions. For each of the indexes, less than 0.3% of areas’ national deciles and less than 24.7% of areas’ national percentiles have changed. For each of the indexes, less than 0.3% of areas’ state deciles and less than 17.4% of areas’ state percentiles have changed.

The Local Government Area (LGA) Indexes Data Cube has been reissued due to previously having one more rank than there were areas. This has been corrected for all of the indexes (IRSAD, IRSD, IER, IEO) and the number of ranks now equals the number of areas. The scores of all LGAs remain the same. The national ranks, national deciles and national percentiles have been updated. For each of the indexes, a maximum of 0.5% of areas’ national deciles, and a maximum of 6.4% of areas’ national percentiles have changed. There were no changes to state ranks, state deciles and state percentiles of LGAs.

The corresponding SLA SA1 Distribution Data Cube and LGA SA1 Distribution Data Cube have been reissued to reflect the aforementioned changes. Similarly, the SLA and LGA Mapping files for each index (IRSAD, IRSD, IER, IEO) have also been reissued.

05/04/2013 Data cubes have been reissued to ensure that hyperlinks are updated and functional. Twenty data cubes were reissued, which consisted of the Index Data Cubes, the SA1 Distribution Data Cubes and the Population Distribution Data Cubes. Only hyperlinks were updated. No data items in the files were changed. One mapping file was reissued as the file was loaded incorrectly.
