RELEASE SCHEDULE

Here you will find details about data and analytical articles due to be released by the Rural and Regional Statistics National Centre (RRSNC).

Upcoming Releases

National Regional Profile (NRP) 2007 to 2011 - Due for release 27 May 2013
The NRP is a very popular snapshot of data for regions right across Australia. The next issue, using the new Australian Statistical Geography Standard, will include data for over 3,000 regions. There are currently around 300 data items, many in a five year time series, and for a number of regional configurations such as local government areas.

Comparing Enumerated and Usual Resident Populations in Local Government Areas - Due for release June 2013
The Census counts people at their place of enumeration, which includes a mix of usual residents and people who usually live elsewhere or have no usual address. Comparing and contrasting the size of the enumerated and usual resident populations for local government areas can provide useful insights into the population characteristics of regions.

Home Ownership and Rental Rates in Local Government Areas - Due for release July 2013
Home ownership plays an important role in the lives of many Australians, providing shelter, security and a store of wealth. Renting also provides an important housing option for many people. This article uses data from the Census of Population and Housing to provide a regional perspective on home ownership and rental rates in local government areas across Australia.
