ABOUT THIS RELEASE
This is the last in a series of three publications on results from the National Nutrition Survey 1995. This publication presents detailed information on energy, water and nutrient intake of Australians aged two years and over. The nutrients include protein, carbohydrate, fat, alcohol, vitamins (e.g. vitamin A and niacin) and minerals (e.g. iron and calcium). Detailed information is presented for each of these nutrients, including mean daily intake, main food sources and percentage contribution of macro-nutrients to energy intake.
