Summary statistics for NSW will be included in Education and Work, Australia, May 2001, (Cat. no. 6227.0) due for release on 22 March. This publication was Previously titled Transition from Education to Work, Australia. It will contain summary statistics for NSW on persons enrolled in a course of study, level of highest educational attainment and persons starting or leaving a course of study leading to a qualification. NSW data will be included in Education and Training Experience, Australia, 2001 (Cat. no. 6278.0), due for release on 31 May 2002. This data will cover level of highest educational attainment, level of current study, number of work-related training courses completed in the last 12 months, training course outcomes and education and training characteristics. Other data available on request includes work history (occupation and industry), completed qualifications, details of training courses completed, training outcomes, access to education and training, employer support and unmet demand.
