The Accommodation services industry includes businesses providing short-term accommodation such as licensed hotels, motels, serviced apartments, visitor hostels, bed and breakfast locations, guest houses and holiday homes/flats. There are also businesses providing both short-term and long-term accommodation in privately operated holiday parks, caravan parks, camping grounds and student residences (excluding boarding schools). At the end of June 2004 there were 297 businesses providing accommodation services in Tasmania. ACCOMMODATION SERVICES - 2003-04
