Potatoes are Western Australia's main vegetable crop. Potato production is concentrated in the higher rainfall areas of the south-west, with the principal growing centres being Manjimup, Busselton, Donnybrook and Albany. In 2004-05, Western Australian farmers produced 81,200 tonnes of potatoes.
