The ATFCC and the APC are two transport-related classifications designed to enable goods transported to, from and within Australia by sea, air, rail, road or pipeline to be classified in a consistent and standardised manner. The ATFCC classifies goods carried by type of commodity while the APC classifies cargo by its pack characteristics, e.g. `in bulk' or `containerised'.
