In 2001, the Office of Sport and Recreation (Department of Economic Development) undertook the Tasmanian component of the national Exercise, Recreation and Sport Survey (ERASS). Findings are available for Tasmanian regions and local government areas, and can found at http://www.development.tas.gov.au/sportrec/
