TREND ESTIMATES

• In June quarter 2006, the trend estimate for the number of cattle slaughtered increased 3% to 2 million.
• In June quarter 2006, the trend estimate for the number of sheep slaughtered increased 3% to 3.1 million.
• In June quarter 2006, the trend estimate for the number of lambs slaughtered increased slightly to 4.7 million.
• In June quarter 2006, the trend estimate for pigs slaughtered remained steady at 1.3 million.
