ABOUT THIS RELEASE

Part of a series of physical environmental accounts that are being developed. This special data service focuses on the mineral and petroleum resource changes that occurred between 1994 and 1996. Mineral resource changes are presented in commodity tables showing Australian, State and Territory data. Mineral resource volume change tables describe economic demonstrated resource, sub-economic demonstrated resource and inferred resource categories. Petroleum resources are presented showing Australian and petroleum basin data. Petroleum resource volume change tables describe economic demonstrated resource, sub-economic resource and undiscovered resource categories.
