ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

This is a CD-ROM product compiling ABS Indigenous products, including maps, publications, Indigenous and Remoteness profiles from the 2006 Census, fact sheets and data quality statements. be used.

DATA IN THIS PRODUCT

This CD-ROM product is based on the Australian Indigenous Geographic Classification (AIGC), which comprises Indigenous Regions, Indigenous Areas and Indigenous Locations, and provides a geographic standard for the publication of statistics about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. It includes Indigenous profiles down to Indigenous location level, publications, fact sheets and data quality statements. In addition, there are geographic concordance tables to match Collection Districts (CDs) with Indigenous Locations and to match 2001 CDs to 2006 Indigenous Regions. There are also Census fact sheets, data quality statements, and other related publications, on each disk.
