WORK RELATED INJURIES
In 2005-06 there were 10,018 work-related injuries reported to the WorkCover Tasmania Board. Of these, 68% (6,847) occurred to men, and 32% (3,171) occurred to women.
NUMBER AND AVERAGE CLAIM COST OF INJURIES, Tasmania
(b) Estimated average costs for claims reported in 1995-96 have had more time to develop than claims reported in 2005-06. The 1995-96 claims have a larger proportion of actual costs and a smaller proportion of estimated costs.
(c) Costs have not been adjusted for inflation.
