DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 1.9% in July and has risen for 11 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.8% in July and has risen for eight months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 3.1% in July and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.5% in July and has fallen for five months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 0.8% in July and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.2% in July and has risen for three months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 2.1% in July and has fallen for eight months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.4% in July and has fallen for three months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 1.8% in July and has fallen for 10 months.
