INTERSECTORAL FINANCIAL FLOWS


DURING DECEMBER QUARTER 2014

During the December quarter 2014, the household sector repaid a net $13.7b to financial corporations and a net $2.3b to non-financial corporations. General government borrowed a net $9.5b from financial corporations while borrowing a net $7.8b from rest of world. Non-financial corporations borrowed a net $17.1b from financial corporations and a net $8.3b from rest of world.

AT END OF DECEMBER QUARTER 2014

At the end of December quarter 2014, net claims on non-financial corporations were $829.6b from financial corporations, $778.9b from rest of world, $330.5b from the household sector and $312.4b from general government. Net claims on financial corporations were $1,203.8b from the household sector and $80.5b from rest of world.
