The titles of Table 31 and Table 32 in this publication are not correct. These tables actually capture 'Time spent caring for all recipients of care' rather than that for 'the main recipient of care'. This is due to an anomaly in the design of the survey questionnaire, corrected for the 2009 Survey of Disability, Ageing and Carers.

The titles for these tables should read:

  • Table 31 - PRIMARY CARERS AGED 15 AND OVER, Time currently spent caring for all recipients of care
  • Table 32 - PRIMARY CARERS AGED 15 AND OVER(a), Time currently spent caring for all recipients of care by Disability status of main recipient of care.
No other tables have been affected by this anomaly.
