The series of NSSC time series Data Cubes has undergone some changes since first released on 17th March 2009. Some consequential amendments to earlier years data were indicated following the re-issue of the Schools, Australia, 2008 publication. Also, the back-casting of the (relatively new) non-Indigenous statistical series had brought to light complementary errors in some of the Indigenous data. These were manifested as negative numbers in the non-Indigenous series. These errors, which affected data from the years, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998 and 2002, have been amended in the new NSSC Data Cubes. Together these amendments have affected all STUDENTS tables, the Apparent Retention Rates and Student Participation Rates tables. Individually, the data amendments are minor, with no statistically significant effect on trends or annual movements.

NCETS has also taken the opportunity to add further Data Cubes and to rearrange the naming conventions of the files to enable flexibility in placement of any future additional Data Cubes.
