STATISTICAL TRAINING

The ABS NSW Statistical Consultancy Section provides a range of statistical training courses throughout the year. Courses on offer in the coming months include: Introduction to Statistics (6-8 April), for people who need to use or understand statistics in their job but have little experience; Basic Survey Design (18-19 May), which gives a broad overview of all facets of survey development; Introduction to Sampling (8-9 June), for people wanting to understand how a sample is selected in order to meet survey objectives; and Turning Data Into Information (22-23 June), which develops skills in interpreting, communicating and displaying data clearly and effectively.
