Periodically the ABS will update or make amendments to the AHECC. These changes are the result of user requests, or to accommodate the Government reporting requirements or general improvement in the quality of the classification. As of 1 July 2007, chapters 8, 16 and 38 were updated in the AHECC with new statistical codes and a number of chapters for typographical amendments. This page last updated 19 August 2011
