PROCESS FOR DEVELOPING DEFINITION OF HOMELESSNESS

A key outcome of the ABS methodological review of Counting the Homeless, and the homelessness sector consultation that followed, was the establishment of the ABS Homelessness Statistics Reference Group (HSRG). HSRG was established to advise to ABS about the development of homelessness statistics. A definition subgroup of HSRG was established to inform ABS work on the homelessness definition.
