Printing Options
There are two ways to print Statistical Products from the ABS website.

1. Print Page:
This option allows you to print the body of the page you are currently viewing in a print friendly format.

2. Print All:
The 'Print All' option builds on the 'Print Page' option, by combining all or selections from Main Feature and Explanatory Notes pages of a statistical product into one document and allowing you to print in a print friendly format.
Only webpages on the Summary and Explanatory Notes tabs can currently use this functionality.  Attachments on the Downloads tab must be download or opened and printed separately.

Browser Settings Required

In order to use the Print Page and Print All functions, you will need to have the following settings enabled:

JavaScript enabled
Pop-up windows enabled

Using Print Page

1. Navigate to a Statistical Product page

2. Click the Print Page Icon icon in the Page Tools tool bar.

3. Content of the page will be displayed in a Print Friendly format in a new browser window.

4. Select File/Print from the new browser window's File menu:

Using Print All

1. Navigate to a Statistical Product page

2. Click the Print All button at the top left of the Page Tools bar.

3. A pop-up overlay screen opens displaying the the webpages within the issue grouped by Summary and Explanatory Notes. 

4. A selection or all of the pages available on these two tabs can be selected or all pages can be selected at the top product level.

i) Select all pages by ticking the Product option

ii) Select all Summary page by ticking the Summary option.

iii) Select all Explanatory Notes pages by ticking the Explanatory Notes option.

iv) Select a combination of pages by ticking individual pages.

4. Once a selection has been made click on the Print Selected button.  This will preview the selection prior to printing.
 
5.  Click on the Print button to print the selection or Cancel to make a new selection. 

6. A print friendly version of the Product will be created, containing all Main Features and Explanatory Notes content for the selected product.

7. Select File - Print from the File menu to print the selection.

Printer Settings

'Print Page' and 'Print All' can be printed on both Portrait or Landscape settings.

Browser Text Size

For optimal print quality, use Medium text size.

Cross Browser Tips
  • Opera Browsers may not display a File menu at the top of the new browser window. Right click within the new browser window to display a File menu, which contains a Print option.
  • Internet Explorer 7 may not display a File menu at the top of the new browser window. Right click within the new browser window to display a File menu, which contains a Print option.
