THE STATISTICS MAIN PAGE

Clicking on the Statistics link from anywhere on the ABS web site will take you to the Statistics main page where you can access the complete range of ABS products.

From the Statistics main page, you can browse and download vast amounts of data in the form of publications, tables, time series spreadsheets, data cubes, information papers and media releases which make up the individual components of an ABS product.

New and updated releases of ABS products are made each working day after 11.30 am (AEST).

NAVIGATING STATISTICS FROM VIEWS

You can choose from any of the 4 views to find ABS products from the Statistics main page.

Statistics by Catalogue Number
Allows you to find statistics using the ABS Catalogue Numbering System. Every ABS product is identified by a unique Catalogue number. This view helps you to navigate to ABS products based on subject categories.

Statistics by Release Date
A quick way to keep up-to-date with new releases of ABS products, or if you know when a product was released. This view allows you to find all the previous, current and future ABS products by Release Date.

Statistics by Topic
A useful discovery tool, allowing you to browse by Topic. Drill down from 5 broad subject groups to specific topics within each. The 5 broad Topics Groups are; Economy, Environment and Energy, Industry, Methods, Population/People, Research and Methodology.

Statistics by Title
You can locate any of the ABS products by its title. This view has an alphabetical navigation list displayed at top of page, e.g. 0 to 9 and A to Z.
Each alphabet links to a corresponding section that will list all the products whose title begins with that alphabet.
You will find this view useful if you know the title or the first few words of the title of a product.
